WASHINGTON’S BIRTHDAY

Join General Washington as he celebrates his birthday. Activities will include colonial games, Birthday Cake, and a children’s musket drill.
CHARTER DAY

Visit an 18th century tavern. Meet the tavern keeper and his patrons who will invite you to play tavern games of the time period. Visit the Blacksmith Shop and learn about the importance of this trade in the local community.
CHILDREN’S DAY

Bring the family to the Park for the day and participate in various demonstrations and hands-on activities. See an operating Blacksmith Shop and try your hand at 18th century chores and crafts.

Bring the family to the Park for the day and see the 1st PA Battalion encamped. Tour the Camp, talk to the Troops, see Firing Demonstrations & learn about Soldier Life during the Revolution.

BRITISH SHORT RIFLE IN THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION

Presentation will focus on the British issued short rifle. This weapon was more accurate than the Brown Bess smoothbores and carried by British light infantrymen during the Revolutionary War.

This lively presentation will give you a glimpse into the sites and smells of the cities and military camps at the time of the Revolution in all its gory details!

Annual re-enactment of the Battle of Brandywine. Recreated and narrated battle scenarios, lectures and demonstrations, camp tours, and children’s activities.

Join us the Saturday after Thanksgiving & Step Back in time to a small British outpost and see Redcoats & Royal Artillery encamped during the winter of 1777. Infantry & Artillery Firing Demos, 18th Century Baker with fresh Breads & Cookies, Military Fife & Drum Music, 18th Century Sutlers/Merchants, Open Fire Cooking, and a Military Medical Display & Demonstration. Tour the two Historic Quarters of Lafayette & Washington, see the Museum & Film. Chadds Ford Rotary will provide food & refreshments. Also, as a way of saying "Thanks" to the Community for their support, Everyone will receive a 10% discount in our Museum Shop starting Patriot's Day & continuing until Christmas Eve.
BATTLEFIELD BY CANDLELIGHT
December 13th 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm - ADMISSION CHARGED
Tour the candlelit homes of Benjamin Ring and Gideon Gilpin. Learn about their families experiences before, during and after the Battle of Brandywine.
